Chandrababu Naidu says to get an expert opinion on one election

VIJAYAWADA: The Telugu Desam has skipped the meeting on “One Nation One Election” formula held under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday.


However, in a letter to the Union minister for parliamentary affairs Pralhad Joshi, TD national president N. Chandrababu Naidu said that the formula of “One Nation One Election” was a very sensitive subject and required throu-gh deliberations with Constitutional experts and wide spectrum of society.


He said when the Constitution was formulated a lot of thought was given before accepting Parliamentary form of democracy that separated both the Assembly and Parliamentary polls.
