Moghalpura SI P. Bapu caught red-handed

Hyderabad: Sleuths of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday caught the Sub-Inspector of Moghalpura Police Station, P. Bapu, taking a bribe of `30,000 for official favours.


Mr P. Bapu was caught red handed in his office when he demanded and accepted Rs 30,000 from the complainant Mr Mohammed Abdul Raheem to show an official favor for not recommending to the RDO to bind over the complainant and his brother in a case u/s 107 Cr.P.C.


The trap amount was recovered from the possession of Mr Bapu and his left hand fingers tested positive in chemical test. He was arrested and produced before the Special Judge for SPE & ACB cases.
