Vijayawada: The YSR Congress demanded that Telugu Desam  chief and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu vacate the house where he is staying at present at Undavalli immediately, taking moral responsibility, given the controversy on the legality of the structure and double talk on its ownership.

Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, YSR Congress Member of the Legislative Assembly from Mangalagiri told media persons here on Sunday that as the land on which the house of former CM was built by contractor Lingamaneni Ramesh was dogged in controversy that it was built on the banks of the Krishna river, flouting the norms of various departments, the ex-CM should vacate the house immediately.

Referring to the double talk of Mr Naidu on the ownership of the house, he said that the ex-CM stated at one point that the house was given to the state government by the contractor and later said that it was the government which took it over from the contractor. The YSR Congress legislator demanded a clarification on the ownership of the house. He said he would ask the authorities concerned to verify the ownership of the land and transfer it to the government as the property was developed on land acquired through land pooling. He also demanded action on the persons responsible for the violation of the norms.
