Chief Minister KCR to meet collectors on the new law

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who is firm on bringing the new Revenue Act decided on Sunday to hold a meeting with collectors on Tuesday at Pragathi Bhavan.


According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the meeting will commence 11.30 am. Ministers have been invited and against the backdrop of bringing in a new Revenue Act, the Chief Minister wants to take the views, opinions and suggestions from the collectors, who have direct experience of land management at the ground level.


During the meeting, discussions will be held on how to formulate guidelines for the new Revenue Act so that people and farmers will have no problems and there is no room for any corruption.


The meeting will also discuss the implementation of the new Panchayat Raj and Municipal Act.
