12 members of CLP has been merged with TRSLP

Telangana Congress has lost its opposition status as 12 members of CLP has been merged with TRSLP June 6th. 12 Congress MLAs have approached the Speaker, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and gave a letter urging him to treat them as members of the TRSLP. A bulletin has been released by the Secretary to State Legislature Dr. V Narasimhulu. The speaker had taken note that the 12 members of the CLP constitute two-thirds of its total members in the Assembly and they are deemed to have been merged with the TRSLP. The merger process has been completed under the 10th schedule of the Indian Constitution.
