Kapil Sharma gives a peek into his favourite in-flight entertainment

, July 20 (IANS) Stand-up comedian and TV host Kapil Sharma gave fans a glimpse of his in-flight entertainment on Saturday, revealing that he enjoys watching his own show, 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. Kapil shared a short video on his Instagram stories, showing himself sitting in a flight and giving a glimpse of what he is enjoying on the screen while travelling. The snippet shows ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ airing on the in-flight screen. However, Kapil did not disclose his travel destination or provide a caption for the video. Meanwhile, in June, the makers of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ (TGIKS) announced the second season of the celebrity comedy chat show. The previous season featured notable guests such as superstar Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and his family, cricketers Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer, international pop icon Ed Sheeran, and Kartik Aaryan, who appeared in the finale episode. 'The Great Indian Kapil Show', which streams on Netflix, also includes performances by Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur, and Archana Puran Singh as the permanent guest. Kapil, originally from Amritsar, Punjab, first gained prominence by winning the comedy reality TV show 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' in 2007. He then participated in 'Comedy Circus' in 2010, winning six seasons of the show. In 2013, Kapil launched his own show, 'Comedy Nights with Kapil', and started 'The Kapil Sharma Show' in 2016. Kapil has also appeared in films such as 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon', 'Firangi', and 'Zwigato'. His most recent project is the heist comedy film 'Crew', directed by Rajesh A Krishnan and written by Nidhi Mehra and Mehul Suri. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit under Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network, 'Crew' stars Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon in leading roles, with Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil in pivotal parts. --IANS sp/prw
