Laal Singh Chaddha is an upcoming comedy-drama film directed by Advait Chandan from a screenplay written by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni. The film is co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios and Paramount Pictures. The film stars Aamir Khan as the titular character along with Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya. This is Naga Chaitanya's Hindi debut film. The film is an adaptation of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself is based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name.
The film is now slated for theatre release on 14 April 2022. The film's music is composed by Pritam. Produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Ajit Andhare and Radhika Chaudhari. Cinematography done by Setu while it's edited by Manik Dawar. Featuring Aamir Khan as Laal Singh Chaddha, Kareena Kapoor as Manila Chaddha, Naga Chaitanya as Bubba.
Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Kajol and Karisma Kapoor are going to make special appearances in the film.
