It was a busy summer for Tollywood with some big films releasing in April and May. Given that it was holiday season, the industry lined up some big budget films. But now that the summer is over and the schools are re-opening, the rush season has come to an end.
Barring Rajinikanth's Kaala, there are no big films lined up for release this month. The film is being released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Though the release date has been postponed a few times, the film is finally hitting the screens, though the timing is not right. In the second week of June (June 14), Naa Nuvve and Jambalakadi Pamba will be hitting the screens.Kalyan Ram will be playing a lover boy for the first time in his career and Naa Nuvve stars Tamanna in the lead. The film has been directed by Jayendra. Given that the director is unknown, there are not many expectations on the film.
Jambalakadi Pamba stars Srinivasa Reddy and it has 50-50 chances depending on how the film fares in the theatres.June 15 will see the release of Sanmohanam starring Sudheer Babu and Aditi Rao. Directed by Indraganti Mohan, the film's trailer has done well. So, it remains to be seen how it does at the box-office.
Vijay Devarakonda's Taxiwala, Sai Dharam Teja's Tej I Love You will release at the end of this month.Taxiwala is a different concept and Tej I Love You is an out and out love story being directed by Karunakaran. Since he is returning to direction after a long time, it remains to be seen how the audience will receive it.
