Amaravati, Jan 12 (IANS) Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, currently on a visit to Andhra Pradesh, on Tuesday expressed hope that the coronavirus vaccine will reach all people in the country for a healthy life for everybody.
"We will win over coronavirus, this is a happy development. This vaccine, Covaxin, should reach all the people in the country. And everybody should be hale and healthy," said Dattatreya, at a time when the vaccine has just begun to be shipped to various places in the country.
He met his Andhra Pradesh counterpart, Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, at the Raj Bhavan.
Harichandan presented a memento to Dattatreya who reciprocated with a Himachali cap, which he gave to others as well. Both the governors discussed the various development programmes being implemented by their respective states.
AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also met the Himachal Pradesh Governor.
