Two Telugu Desam leaders from Pamarru move to BJP

Vijayawada: The Telugu Desam had yet another jolt when its senior leader and MLA N. Balakrishna’s kin Potluri Krishnababu along with his wife joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Mr Krishnababu was a senior leader of the Telugu Desam from Pamarru. BJP Mahila Morcha chairperson Daggubati Purandeswari welcomed the duo and felicitating them with the party khadva.

The Telugu Desam had suffered a severe  shock when four of its MPs quit the party and joined the BJP recently.

TD former MLA and former AP Film Development Corporation chairman Ambica Krishna also quit the TD to join the BJP.
