Amaravathi: Rarely do we see MLA candidates leaving a party after their candidature is announced from a particular assembly segment. However, TDP is facing the exact same situation now.

Incidentally, TDP Nellore Rural candidate, Adala Prabhakar Reddy is set to quit the party. He was announced as MLA candidate from the constituency by TDP recently. Adala is expected to join YCP soon, say sources. This surely is a strange situation for the ruling party. In fact, losing an MLA candidate after announcing his name can take a toll on the party image.
