According to police, a brick-laden lorry coming from Karimnagar to Hyderabad hit the container truck carrying transformers while trying to overtake it. The collision led to fire in the container truck and the man standing guard with transformers was killed.

Both the vehicles were gutted in the collision. The driver of the brick lorry escaped after the accident.

In another accident late Wednesday, two youths riding a motorcycle were killed after they were run over by a RTC bus in Hyderabad.
