Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president and Nalgonda MP Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy strongly condemned the attitude and approach of Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrashekhar Rao in dealing with the RTC strike.

Addressing a series of corner meetings in Mattampally mandal as part of his campaign for the Huzurnagar byelections on Sunday, Uttam Kumar Reddy described KCR as the most irresponsible and insensitive chief minister.

He said that the TRS government did not respond when RTC unions served the strike notice following the rules and made no efforts to meet their justified demands. When the RTC employees went on strike, the chief minister reacted in an insane manner and the announced dismissal of more than 48,000 employees in a single stroke. He also stopped their previous month's salaries and they were also denied treatment at the RTC Hospital, he said.
