Will TDP contest in Lok Sabha elections in Telangana?

Hyderabad: After a massive defeat in the assembly elections in Telangana , the T-TDP has decided to field five to six candidates for Lok Sabha elections in the state. However, it will be confirmed by the party after the politburo meeting today. The TDP supremo is learned to have worried over the party's stand as it has to go alone in the Lok Sabha elections.

The party which aimed an alliance with the CPI was upset as the two left parties decided contest together and the same has happened with Congress as it announced of going to the polls without any alliance. However, the party has plans to field their candidates from Malkajgiri, Khammam, Chevella, Mahabubabad, Adilabad and Warangal. The party will also decide in the meeting if it will support Congress candidates in Lok Sabha elections.
