Hyderabad: A politician who is seen as a media-savvy one and often knows how to please the shutterbugs is upset with a nation media outlet. TRS working President K.T Rama Rao is irked by one of the national media outlets for "publishing utter non-sense." An article on the channel's website states about KCR's ambitions to become Prime Minister of India.

Highlighting this article, one of KTR's followers tweeted the article, tagging KTR on it and calling it fake news. Responding to his follower's response, KTR tweeted: "Some news outlets don't seem to have the basic common sense to do a fact check before publishing utter nonsense. Leave it to the wisdom of the respective editors," he said.

Interestingly, the article connected KCR's Chandi Yagam to his ambitions of becoming the PM of the country by forming the Federal Front. Additionally, the article states that the Telangana Chief Minister also missed out on the United India Rally to perform the Yagam. The article has been written based on the inputs from a priest from Varanasi who will be one of them at the Yagam and that according to him, it is being performed to make KCR's Prime Ministerial ambitions come true.

Well, like KTR said, may be a basic fact-check is necessary. Further, a national media outlet publishing a story based on a priest as the primary source questions its authenticity.
