Schools, colleges to be closed due to Panchayat elections

Hyderabad:  Educational institutions in the state will remain closed in the view of gram panchayat elections. As the elections are held in three phases, the schools and colleges which come under the respective areas of the elections will be shut for the day.

In the first phase, elections are being held in Kottur of Shadnagar division, Nandigama, Keshampeta, Kondurgu, Chowdaryguda, Sharuqnagar, Rajendranagar and educational institutions. In the second phase, elections are being held in Abdullapurmet in Ibrahimpatnam division, Ibrahimpatnam, Yacharam, Manchala, Madgula, Kandukur of Amangal division, Kadtal, Thalakondapalli. In the third phase, Shankarapalli of Chevella division, Moinabad, Chevella, Shabad, Maheshwaram, Kandukur will have the elections.
