TS: First phase Panchayat elections to be held tomorrow

Hyderabad: First phase of Gram Panchayat polls in Telangana will begin tomorrow. All are arrangements have been made to conduct polls in 3,701 villages. The campaigning came to an end in these villages last evening. Huge battalions of police have reached the villages for security. The Panchayat polls have turned out to be interesting, as they are not related to either parties or symbols. At least 12,202 candidates are in the fray for sarpanch posts. At least 70,094 candidates are in fray for 28,976 ward member posts.
