Metro Rail staff shows their honest

The staff at the SR Nagar Metro Rail station returned a bag which a woman had forgotten on the premises. The bag contained Rs 12,000 worth of new sarees. Ms Rohini Rao, a resident of Jubilee Hills, was going to numaish, the industrial exhibition, and took the Metro from SR Nagar to Gandhi Bhavan. She forgot her baggage at the SR Nagar station ticket counter, and realised it only two hours later.

She returned to the SR Nagar Metro station and tried to locate the bag. To her surprise, the Metro Rail staff  guided her to the counter even before she mentioned the bag.

The staff had verified the CCTV footage, identified the owner and kept it ready for her to collect.
