Pocharam elected as Telangana Assembly speaker

Hyderabad: Banswada MLA and TRS senior leader Pocharam Srinivas Reddy unanimously elected as speaker of Telangana assembly. KCR who proposed Reddy as the speaker of assembly has held talks with the opposition parties to elect Srinivas Reddy unanimously. Born on February 10, 1949 in Pocharam village of Banswada, Parige Srinivas Reddy graduated as an engineer and entered politics in 1976. He joined Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in 2011.
