YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, KTR talk Andhra Pradesh money flow

Hyderabad: The YSR Congress, the main Opposition party in Andhra Pradesh, is apprehensive of the money power of the incumbent Telugu Desam in the forthcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.


During talks between YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Telangana Rashtra Samiti working president K.T. Rama Rao at the YSRC office at Lotus Pond on Wednesday, the money flow in the coming elections in AP was said to be one of the crucial issues.


The two leaders held discussions in the presence of senior leaders of both parties for more than 90 minutes and later had lunch at Mr Reddy's residence in Lotus Pond.


Sources disclosed that both party leaders discussed how to counter the TD which would be planning to pump hundreds of crores into the elections.


Sources also revealed that the leaders discussed logistical and financial support during the elections in AP.


According to sources, the TRS has assured the YSR Congress of its support and both parties agreed to amicably resolve the various pending issues in both states and also issues of the Reorganisation of the state and the Polavaram project.
