Police to conduct 'Job Connect' programme on Jan 12

In order to facilitate better provisions to unemployed youths, the South Zone police will conduct a one-day Job mela, in coordination with TMI group. The organizers are expecting to recruit about 1,200 youths in various private companies. The ‘Job Connect’ program has sought applications from aspiring candidates with the qualifications starting from 7th grade to PG. The Job Mela will be held on January 12 starting from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm at Mir Chowk Police Station.


The poster of this event was released by Amber Kishore Jha, DCP South Zone, along with Additional DCP Syed Rafeeq, ACP B Anand, SHO Mirchowk S Srinivas Goud. While speaking to The Hans India, S Srinivas Goud, Inspector of police atMirchowk said that following the instructionsfromthe director general of police, the commissioner of police, Hyderabad City, and DCP for South Zone, the job connect program is being organised in Mir Chowk division. “This will be a great opportunity for the unemployed youths,” he said.


In theendeavour, the organizers toured to generate awareness among youth and met a few aspiring candidates. They offered registration forms as part of this exercise. “Around six companies are participating in job connect program.For this event, the candidates should come with their resumes. Out of 1,200 jobs, 800 candidates will be offered jobs in security wings in different companies, and the remaining jobs will be in other wings,” Inspector said. ‘Job Connect’ program aims to connect skills with opportunities. This recruitment is all about changing lives and supporting individuals in decision-making processin their careers and providing organizations with the employees that are ‘just right’ for them.


A candidate needs to have just the right skills to fit into a vacancy. So, any recruiter would want to have a peek into the works of the candidate, how the person gels with his coworkers, and how a candidate performs and how much of a fit a candidate would be in the company’s culture. These are the crucial aspects that a hiring manager wants to know before interviewing and short listing a candidate, organisers said.
