We know how Samantha is known for her unique character roles. She always selects roles which are challenging and different from her previous role. She was even given the Best Female Actor award for her role in 'The Family Man 2' series.
Samantha has 4 projects in her hand currently. She is filming a movie titled 'Yashoda' which is gearing up to release in Pan India Range in Telugu as well as Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Yashoda is an Indian science fiction thriller film written and directed by directorial duo Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banner Sridevi Movies. The film stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the titular character alongside Unni Mukundan, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
According to sources, Samantha is pregnant. She will be playing a pregnant woman role in the film. The film is going to be screened as a lady oriented film. A hospital set was also set up in Hyderabad for the film. The film team completed its first schedule.
