BJP MP Y. S. Sujana Chowdary's wife gets debt panel notice

Vijayawada: Debt Recovery Tribunal-II, Chennai, has served notice on Ms Y. Padma, wife of BJP MP Y. S. Sujana Chowdary and five others for recovery of Rs 169.90 crore. It has directed them to appear before it either in person or through an advocate on Dec. 16 at 11.00 am.


The notice, related to the case of IDBI Bank Limited, Chennai, versus Sujana Universal Industries Limited, asks the six defendants to show cause as to why reliefs prayed for should not be granted.


The other defendants in the case include: Gottumukkala Srinivasa Raju, S.T. Prasad, S. Dhanalakshmi, Sujana Capital Service Limited and Explair Electricals (P) Limited of Hyderabad.


Mr Sujana Chowdary has joined the BJP from the  Telugu Desam after the debacle of the Lok Sabha elections.
