Telugu Desam spokesman Lanka Dinakar joins BJP

Vijayawada: Telugu Desam spokesman Lanka Dinakar resigned from the party and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday. It is learnt  that  the party’s Repalle, Guntur, MLA, Annangi Satya Prasad is also getting ready to jump ship.


In a letter to former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh party president N. Chandrababu Naidu, Mr Dinakar said he was resigning from the post and primary membership of the TD “after unanimous decision of my family members”.


Hours later, Mr Dinakar joined the BJP  in the presence of the party’s national working president Jagat Prakash Nadda.
