Indian Railways is making key decisions to provide better services to passengers. Railways are providing more facilities to the commuters due to the increasing technology. Now the Railways has made it even easier for passengers to book train tickets. From now on, train tickets can also be booked at post offices. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a ticket booking company, has launched a new facility for this purpose. Now you do not have to go to the railway station and stay in the queue to book tickets offline. You can also book train tickets by visiting your nearest post office.

In fact, the Indian Railways has facilitated the booking of train tickets from the post office for the convenience and needs of the passengers. Reservations for train tickets can also be made at the post office. IRCTC has earlier launched the facility of booking from post offices in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The facility was inaugurated by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
