So far 1,409 patients infected with the new variant Omicron have been cured. Maharashtra and Delhi have the highest number of Omicron cases. There are 1009 Omicron variant cases in Maharashtra. There are 513 cases in Delhi.
According to the Union Ministry of Health, there are 51,384 active cases in West Bengal. West Bengal is second only to Maharashtra with 1,45,198 active patients. The level of the third wave corona running in the country reaches 8 lakh cases in a single day. An estimated 4 to 8 lakh cases are reported daily in the country.
